Over the duration of this online program, you’ll work through the following modules:

Module 1: Sustainable investing strategies
Explore various sustainable investing strategies, concepts, and trends.

Module 2: Key organizations and tools in sustainable finance
Discover how key organizations interact to affect ESG investing.

Module 3: ESG data, metrics, and analytics
Explore the state of ESG data and learn about the associated analytic tools and applications.

Module 4: Asset pricing and portfolio management
Consider the effect of ESG factors on asset pricing and portfolio-management models.

Module 5: Impact metrics and investing
Learn how to use a wide range of data to assess the impact of an investment.

Module 6: Diversity of ESG investment products
Consider the role of ESG in novel fixed-income products and in non-public equity investment products.

Todd Cort

Senior Lecturer in Sustainability; Faculty Director of Sustainability Program, MBA for Executives; Faculty Co-Director, Yale Center for Business and the Environment; Faculty Co-Director, Yale Initiative on Sustainable Finance

With over 20 years of experience working at the intersection of sustainability and investor value, Cort has provided investors, businesses, and society with the mechanisms, metrics, and indicators to create the greatest value. He has helped multiple companies to implement sustainability programs and integrate programs to meet regulatory requirements. He also promotes sustainability awareness through his engagement with communities, regulators, policy makers, and internal stakeholders. Cort serves on a variety of advisory boards including the JUST Capital Scientific Advisory Board, the PRIME Coalition Academic Advisory Committee and Merck Sustainability Advisory Committee, and is also currently Board Chair for Save the Sound, a regional environmental non-profit serving communities around Long Island Sound.
